Today felt like the first real day of winter, my locks were frozen and i had to scrape my windows! Yuck! But. . . as i drove to work i found myself humming a christmas carol and as i drove past someones beautiful lawn decorations i didnt find myself rolling my eyes and thinking "Bah Humbug", i actually thought "how pretty" and smiled.
Last year was so horrible, and with all the drama of the past 7 months i have been dreading this Holiday season just as much, but maybe just maybe im not channeling Ebenezer Scrooge as much as I thought. And maybe just maybe, i will able to appreciate some small things about this time of year:)
